Venezolanos demandan un proceso judicial transparente

En la carta que la Coalición Víctimas de Stanford América Latina (COViSAL) le envió a los Liquidadores Conjuntos del Stanford International Bank Limited (SIBL), Jaime R. Escalona les plantea una serie de peticiones “para darle al proceso judicial la transparencia que no tiene”.
Así en cuanto al proceso de liquidación de ese banco en Antigua, Escalona, en nombre de COViSAL les pide a Marcus Wide y Hugh Dickson, liquidadores de esa entidad financiera, y al Síndico de los Estados Unidos, que “sin más dilación y en armonía firmen un Protocolo de Cooperación de Insolvencia Transfronteriza”.
Ese acuerdo les permitiría “recuperar activos sin duplicar esfuerzos y gastos”, además de que obligaría a “ambas partes a compartir registros y documentos indispensables para lograr con éxito las demandas interpuestas contra terceros”.
Asimismo, los comprometería a "implementar un solo proceso de certificación de reclamos, amén de que se obligarían formalmente a elaborar informes conjuntos”.
