On behalf of COViSAL, I am writing to formally bring to your attention a petition organized by Stanford investors regarding urgent concerns in the receivership process.

This petition reflects the collective voice of victims who believe the following matters require immediate clarification to the Court and the investor community:
- Timeline for the 12th Distribution: While the distribution has been approved, victims remain without a definitive schedule for the actual disbursement of funds.
- Accounting of $8.1 Million: There is significant concern regarding the $8.1 million received by the Receiver last December; to date, no public accounting or explanation for these funds has been provided.
- Clarification on Payment Priorities: Reports of $2,000 payments to select groups—specifically legal representatives—have raised concerns regarding preferential treatment while the broader investor base continues to wait.
Clarification of Intent: This petition does not seek to delay or alter the 12th distribution. Rather, it is a formal demand for transparency and accountability. We believe the Court must be made aware of these concerns to ensure the proceedings reflect the full reality faced by the victims.
As Receiver and lead counsel, you are uniquely positioned to provide the clarity that 17 years of patience warrants.
We respectfully request:
- A formal review of the petition and the concerns of its signatories.
- A transparent update regarding the $8.1 million received in December.
